Magic SFP - High band

The MaGiC-SFP™ (Multi-Gigabit over Coax, Small Form-factor Profile Pluggable) is the most cost-effective solution for last mile connectivity. MaGIC-SFP™ uses existing RG6 coaxial cable in the home and/or building, is easy to install and works with existing network equipment. MaGIC-SFP™ extends fiber and coaxialbased networks, and has been tested to symmetrical data rates of up to 1Gbps (2.5 Gbps capacity is under testing).

Plugs into your network device via SFP Cage and you can have up to 16 Magic SFP's on any single run. Multiple in aprtment buildings for example simply requires you to deply multiple Magic SFP's at the head end.

Note the Magic SFP works with existing 0-2400MHz splitters as used in many existing Sky or Freeview installs. 

• If you using these over a coax link with Sky or Freeview satellite then choose the Low Band Model,
• If you using these over a coax link with UHF Terrestrial TV then choose the High Band Model
• If no TV involved then you can use either module - just note all modules on a circuit must be the same band model to talk. 
• If an amplifier is in use you need to join into the circuit on the downstream side as they only amplify in one direction.
